Biomedical scientists who turned tech entrepreneur with over 13 years experience in running tech startups. He’s been building computer programs from the age of 12, leading to his masters degree in IT – specializing in web-based systems architecture and SaaS software. He built Scicasts from scratch in his student flat with a unique approach of sharing research data, reports and latest news. This model then grew and evolved into a cognitive data mining system for knowledge discovery called Nebuli.
His journey in online development began over 17 years ago during his bachelors degree in biomedical science, where he implemented web-based bioinformatics and data management tools. During his masters degree, his particular interest was in building online communities, so he built a WAP version of his entire university’s student online gateway and learning environment as part of his masters project.
Outside business, Tim is an avid Capoeira professor and martial artist. He cofounded the first ever Capoeira club in the UK Midlands region in 2001 and performed in many high profile theatrical and public events, including a featured performance to the HM the Queen during her Diamond Jubilee visit to Leicester City in 2012. He also has a passion for Basketball and Motor racing.
Co-founder and Chief Science Officer
Teacha is a former biomedical scientist with a unique diversity of knowledge and experience in bioresearch, molecular biology and clinical trials of new cancer drugs. During her career in pharmaceutical sciences, she developed a particular interest towards the financial and the business side of biotech and Bio-IT sectors. At this point, she shifted her career towards computer science and business, where she worked in academic projects involving building database systems and user management systems.
In 2003, She cofounded OBBeC.com, one of the first online Bio- IT & Biotech trade magazines in the world, now part of Scicasts. As the CSO, her key role is to build Scicasts' editorial strategy that showcases the best of science and technology worldwide, as well as building NEBULi's data structure and data access models.

Chief Revenue Officer
Leslie has over 28 years sales experience in technology publishing. She is the founder and president of Avani Media, an independent media representation company based near San Francisco, California. Her company specializes in advertising and sponsorship sales of leading biotech and information tech publications and web sites from over 20 countries worldwide.
Prior to launching Avani Media, Leslie held senior sales positions with two leading publishing companies, IDG and VNU. Earlier in her career, she was responsible for establishing and managing the international sales and marketing efforts of various North American based computer technology companies, including Ashton Tate, Sigma Designs and Lapis Technologies.
Outside business, Leslie loves to travel and is an avid road cyclist.
Chief Communications Officer
Also the CEO of Forbes France, Dominique has been involved in the B2B Digital Media industry for over 20 years. He is a pioneer of the online publishing world in both sides of the Atlantic, and has been one of the first to sell online advertising in the B2B space for IDG back in 1995. He has major experience across all European markets, as well as in both North and South American markets.
Dominique has a strong network of key clients and agencies, and is also used to selling large programs, including various components such as Display, Lead Generation, Events and Business Intelligence pieces. Dominique has been involved in the Digitalization of EMAP Plc and VNU in the early 2000’s. In the past 10 years, he has created 2 companies, The Social Media Group (a network of vertical blogs) and NetMediaEurope, the one stop shop B2B Tech Publisher in Europe.
Outside business, Dominique has a passion for antique cars and boats, as well as Free Fall, Snowboarding and Tennis.
Senior Data Analyst and Science Officer
Kristina studied Bioengineering and Bioinformatics at the Moscow State University in Russia, before moving to Munich, Germany, to pursue a PhD in Biochemistry in one of the most prestigious research institutions in Europe – The Max Planck Institute. She is a rare talent in science who joined Scicasts in 2015. She published four major research papers with Max Planck Institute by the age of 26! Her work was published by Elsevier, The American Chemical Society, and Springer Science.
It was during her posraduate studies that she realised that her true passion lies in working at the interface of academic science and the business world. Since then, she devoted her work to seeking out and communicating the essential information relevant to both academic and industry stakeholders, in a quest to bridge the gap between the two worlds and accelerate implementation of the most innovative scientific discoveries.
As a Senior Data Analyst and Science Officer at Scicasts, she now focuses on the latest industry insights concerning science policies, funding and publishing, and she is always seeking new ways to provide researchers with access to the most valuable information.
Outside business, Kristina is an actress and an amateur filmmaker.
Chief Strategy Officer
Tammy lead the Enterprise Applications and SaaS Channels sales and market development at Oracle Hong Kong, and joined Scicasts in September 2015 as Chief Revenue Officer for Asia Pacific market (APAC). She brings onboard over 15 years experience in the IT market, from hardware to enterprise software, to the latest SaaS adoption from Oracle.
With her extensive network and knowledge in the field, Scicasts will leverage her expertise to further extend its coverage in the APAC region and the adoption of NEBULi – not just in the science and technology communities, but also in wider vertical sectors.

As a creative development specialist, Simon is out to challenge the way our team thinks and place innovation firmly within its grasp. He’s a great believer in finding the marvellous in the mundane and stumbling upon inspiration in unlikely places.
His best thinking is done when out running, in the shower or in the pub - quite often in that very order. Before going maverick, Simon consulted on strategy and change management for a wide range of the UK’s most prominent businesses. He takes a very purpose-driven and human-centric approach to creativity.
Outside business, Simon is a big foodie, from cooking to eating and exploring unusually delicious recipes – like chocolate, pumpkin, sage and mushroom truffles!
NED - Finance & Business Strategy
Helen is an ex Ernst & Young Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience working in industry in senior finance and IT managerial roles, including Finance Director, and IT Director. She has operated as a portfolio Finance Director to smaller businesses, and is an accredited executive and strategic coach.
Helen also specializes in developing bespoke training programmes on business acumen and commercial awareness as well as ‘soft skills’ for finance professionals. Furthermore, Helen has been involved in a number of fund raising (debt and equity) projects for startups. Sector experience includes manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, education, financial services, retail, charitable and social housing.
Outside business, Helen enjoys travelling and is a keen amateur photographer.
In 2012, Rachael chose to set up a green accountancy practice in Tamworth, UK, with a passion to be as environmentally-friendly as possible whilst still providing an excellent accountancy service. With her innovative digital-only approach in accountancy, she is the ideal accountant for Scicasts – a company that runs a no-paper policy. Not to mention she is a great and fun person to work with, amazingly tech-savvy and with an immaculate eye for detail.

NED – Investment, Legal & Business Strategy
Founder/MD of Seed Mentors SEIS Fund (Scicasts’ SEIS investors), with over 40 years of exhaustive experience working with early stage start-ups, turning them into highly successful ventures. Credited with designing and implementing several highly successful investment schemes, Harvey has also been on the advisory board for a number of companies, preparing them to obtain required funding and investment – through the growth stages.
With a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) specialising in Company Law, Tax and Intellectual Property, he also advises companies on legal matters.
