London, UK (Scicasts) – Dominique Busso, a pioneer of the online publishing world on both sides of the Atlantic, joins Scicasts as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), to lead the company’s upcoming business offerings to clients, including opportunities through Scicasts events, marketing services and industry research, as well as data intelligence through NEBULi™ cloud platform.
"It is a great pleasure to have Dominique as a new member of our executive team, bringing onboard first-rate experience from across all European markets and from both North and South American markets,” said Tim El-Sheikh, Chief Executive Officer, Founder, and Chief Technology Architect at Scicasts. "He has a strong network of key clients and partners that will play a crucial role in our planned B-to-B services, events and highly targeted sponsorship offerings around the world."
Dominique Busso has been involved in the B-to-B Digital Media industry for the past 20 years. He has been one of the first to sell online advertising in the B-to-B space for International Data Group (IDG) back in 1995. He has also been involved in the Digitalization of EMAP Plc and VNU in the early 2000s.
"I had a chance to meet with Tim El-Sheikh, and was impressed by his enthusiasm and his ideas. He is a gold mine in terms of development skills, and his science background coupled with his intuitive IT mind set, making him the perfect leader for Scicasts," said Dominique Busso. "The site he has built with his team is only at its infancy, and I believe it will be the standard for any scientist in the future using the powerful NEBULi solution. With over 3.7 million user engagements in 2013, Scicasts has a nice global audience foundation, and with the new projects in the pipeline, it will only develop at a faster pace."
"I am thrilled to join such a dynamic and experienced team, and I believe that my publishing experience will be a nice add-on to this promising journey that is Scicasts," he continued.
In the past 10 years, Dominique has created two companies, The Social Media Group (a network of vertical blogs) and NetMediaEurope, the one stop shop B-to-B Tech Publisher in Europe.
